以前のブログポストでVFCのGBB　MP5がいかに究極のMP5リアルレプリカであるかを紹介したが、ゲームにおいてのGBBはBB弾のシャワーを浴びせてくる電動ガンと対等に張り合うことができるほどの信頼性は持ち合わせていない。電動MP5は、アルミキャスト製も含めて、古い設計の東京マルイ社製のコピーしか出回っておらず、ゆえにスチールプレス製のリアルなMP5電動ガンという選択肢を待ちわびるファンが世界中に存在した。ゆえにVFCは同社の究極ガスブロのスチールプレスレシーバーを流用する形で、電動版のリアルMP5を発売するに至った。
VFCは内部メカにマルイ製８９式小銃タイプのメカボックスを使用することにより、これもまた待望であった機械式で確実な３バーストを付加してきた。マガジンはあえて同社のレシーバーに合わせた実銃サイズではなく、マルイ製その他マルイ企画品と共用できるようになっている。抜かりなくファンの心とニーズを掴んでくるところがさすがだ。

I`ve recently put up a blog post about VFC`s MP5 GBB explaining how it is the most realistic MP5 replica ever created. Yet it`s GBB engine still aren`t reliable enough to match with the BB showering AEGs. There has always been a demand for a full steel made realistic MP5 AEG option, not the TM nor its cast-almunium copies. VFC has then decided to "port" their ultra realistic pressed-steel MP5 GBB receiver for developing their AEG version.
VFC also chose TM Type89`s gear-box to offer the flawless mechanical 3-round burst, as well as TM standard sized mags.


GBB版同様、レシーバー上リセスはもちろんコッキングハンドル、ハンドルサポートともにスチール部品で組まれており、アルミキャスト製含む今までの製品では決してできなかった”HKスラップ”による装填を思う存分シミュレートすることができる。
Since both receiver and cocking handle/cocking handle support are made out of steel, you can feel free to simulate the "HK slap" all you want, just like the GBB ver.


アッパーレシーバー上のチューブラー部（リコイルスプリングハウジング）にAKタイプのスティックバッテリーを挿入することができるほか、固定ストック内により大きなバッテリーをいれることもできる。
The upper receiver accepts an "AK type" stick battery on top tubular part, or any larger batteries can be housed inside the A4 buttstock.


マグウェル内に増設された鉄板のレイヤーに注目、実銃サイズのマガジンでなくマルイ製の薄いマガジンを保持できるようにされている。
Notice the added layer inside the magwell so that it accepts TM standard thinner magazines instead of the "realistic size" VFC mags.
