VFC has released the GBBR HK417 into the market several months ago as the .308 fans worldwide went totally nutz experiencing the 1/100 recoil of the full-power caliber rifle lol. Although the blowback engine these days (cylinder and pressure valve designs) are mechanically far improved than its past predeccessors, GBB guns however still rely on the liquid state gas as their power source. As we all know, gasification pressure of liquid state gas varies depending on the surrounding temperature . GBB airsofts especially those rifles with much larger and heavier bolt groups to cycle, suffers the most of the cool-down effects particulary in the winter season. Tokyo Marui`s "Next Gen" aka RecoilShock AEG series are just-on-point products for those demanding airsofters who wants realism and game-use reliability in one package.
TM`s Next Gen AEG HK417 will be released right before the Christmas on Dec 22nd (in store by the 23rd) with pre-order price of ￥56.337 (w/cash) . Mid cap and Hi-cap mags are also coming out.
